These series sourced Taylor's photographs of Port Philip Bay and her reflections on ocean warming. Her process involves indigo dyed linen that evokes the blue tones of messy faded jeans. This key indigo symbol expresses the complexity of our relationship with nature.

Superimposed are oil painted gantry cranes and cargo ships swaying on distorted horizons that warn of an unknown future. To symbolize nature’s preservation, black swans appear in docklands before they swim into remaining grassy wetlands and beyond.
